Ancient Rome

Ancient Rome was a city in Europe that existed a very, very long time ago. It was a very powerful city, and it had its own army, laws, and government. It was very famous for its culture, art, architecture, and powerful leaders. Ancient Rome also had its own currency, trading, and manufacturing. It was so powerful that it was able to control other cities and countries, and it eventually became a huge empire. In fact, it even conquered most of Europe. People in ancient Rome also had some really cool things like chariots, sewers, and aqueducts which were used to bring water from a river to the city. People of ancient Rome also spoke Latin and enjoyed holding gladiator tournaments.
