Ancient road in Tarsus

In the olden days, people used to travel from one place to another on foot or on animals like horses or donkeys. They didn't have cars or airplanes like we do now. To make it easier for them to travel, they built roads made out of big stones and rocks.

One of these ancient roads is located in a place called Tarsus. Tarsus is a city located in modern-day Turkey. The road was built a very long time ago, when Tarsus was a very important city. People used to travel on this road to get to other cities, trade goods, or even just to visit family and friends.

The road is made out of big rocks and stones that were placed together to make a flat surface for people to walk or ride their animals on. It's very old, so it's not as smooth as the roads we have now. You might have to be careful not to trip on some of the rocks that are sticking out!

The road is still there today, even though it's not used as much as it used to be. People can still visit it and see what it was like to travel on these types of roads a long time ago. It's like taking a trip back in time!
