Ancient temples of Java

Ancient temples in Java are special places built by people long ago. They were usually built to honor gods and goddesses, and people would go to them to give thanks and make offerings. The most famous ancient temple in Java is called the Borobudur temple. It was built in the 8th century and is made of stone and has many beautiful details carved into it. People still go to this temple to pray and meditate, even though it is very old.
