Andragogy

Andragogy is the adult learning theory. It helps adult learners learn in their own way and at their own pace. Andragogy is based on the idea that adults learn best when they are in control of their learning - they take responsibility for their own learning and do it when they are ready. Andragogy uses a more hands-on approach that enables adults to work together and learn from one another. It focuses on connecting the learners with the material, encouraging them to think for themselves, and giving them meaningful activities and assignments. Andragogy is an effective way of teaching adults so that they can develop their skills and gain knowledge.
