Anesthesiologist

An anesthesiologist is a doctor who helps people fall asleep and stay asleep during surgery or other medical procedures where they need to be numb or not feel any pain. They also make sure the person is safe and aware of what's happening during the procedure. They work with a special medicine called an anesthetic that makes the person sleepy and numb and monitors the person's breathing and vital signs throughout the operation. Think of an anesthesiologist like a superhero who helps the patient feel good and safe during a scary or painful experience.
