Angel of the North

The Angel of the North is a really big sculpture that looks like a person with wings. It's in a place called Gateshead in England.

The sculpture was made by an artist called Antony Gormley who wanted to create something really special that people could see and enjoy.

The Angel is made out of a special kind of metal that is really heavy and strong, and it's all put together using big machines that help the workers lift the pieces into place.

When the Angel was finished, it was put up in a big field where everyone can see it. People come from all over the world to visit it and take pictures with it.

The Angel is like a symbol of hope and happiness for a lot of people, and it's really special to the people who live in Gateshead.
