Angklung

Angklung is a musical instrument traditionally made from bamboo that comes from Indonesia. It is very special because it is played by shaking it, which makes a sound that is like a mix between a bell and a xylophone. It is said that the sound of the angklung can be heard from very far away because it is so unique and beautiful.

To play the angklung, you have to hold it by the middle and shake it gently. When you shake it, the bamboo tubes that make up the angklung strike together and make a sound. To play different notes, you have to shake different tubes at different times. So if you want to play a high note, you shake the smaller tubes, and if you want to play a low note, you shake the bigger tubes.
