ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Angry black woman

Okay, so sometimes when people are really upset or angry they might say things that aren't very nice or too loud. But sometimes people only say these things because they are feeling really frustrated or hurt. This can happen to anyone, regardless of their race or gender.

But sometimes people might use a mean phrase like "angry black woman" to describe a woman of color who is expressing her emotions strongly. This is really unfair and not nice. It's like saying that if a person is a black woman, they can't have strong emotions or be upset like everyone else.

It's important to remember that everyone has feelings and it's okay to express them in a healthy way. We shouldn't use mean labels like "angry black woman" to try to shut people down or make them feel bad for being upset. We should listen to what they have to say and try to understand where they're coming from.
