Angulimala

Angulimala is a story that comes from a long time ago in India. There was a man named Angulimala who was a really bad person. He used to hurt people and steal things from them. He even killed many innocent people and cut off their fingers to make a necklace out of them.

Now, there was also a man named Buddha who was very wise and kind. He wanted to help Angulimala and teach him to be a better person. So one day, Buddha went to the forest where Angulimala was hiding and started walking towards him.

Angulimala saw the Buddha coming and thought he would make him his next victim. He started chasing after Buddha with his sword, but no matter how fast he ran, he couldn't catch up to Buddha.

Finally, Angulimala was so tired that he stopped running and called out to Buddha to stop. Buddha turned around and calmly told Angulimala that he had stopped a long time ago and that he should stop too.

Buddha then began teaching Angulimala about being kind and not hurting others. Angulimala listened and was so moved by Buddha's words that he decided to change his ways. He became a Buddhist monk, and he never hurt anyone again.

Angulimala's story shows that it's never too late to change and become a better person. It also teaches us that kindness and compassion can help even the worst people become good.
