Angus MacNab was a Scottish explorer who lived in the 1700s. He is known for exploring the North Atlantic Ocean looking for new lands and animals. He was the first European to see a narwhal, an animal with a long tusk like a unicorn. He was also the first European to see walruses, whales, seals and polar bears. He sailed to Greenland, Iceland, the Faroe Islands, Norway, and even the coasts of Labrador and Newfoundland. Angus MacNab was an important explorer in the 18th century and helped Europeans understand more about the world.
