Animal repellent

An animal repellent is a substance or device that keeps animals away from an area or thing that we don't want them to access, like our gardens or trash bins.

It works just like how a child may be afraid of a scary-looking toy and would not want to play with it. Animal repellents are made of chemicals that make the smell or taste of the treated area or object unpleasant to the animal's sensitive nose or tongue, thus scaring it away.

For example, if we don't want deer to eat our plants, we can spray them with a substance that smells bad to deer or has a bad taste. Or we can set up devices that emit noises that annoy the animals, like an ultrasonic repeller, which emits a high-frequency sound that is very unpleasant to animals.

Animal repellents are designed to be safe and harmless to animals and people if used correctly. So, whenever you need to use an animal repellent, make sure to read the instructions carefully and use only as directed.
