Animals can make art too! Just like humans use their hands to paint or draw, animals use different parts of their bodies to leave marks on a surface.
For example, elephants often use their trunks to create beautiful paintings. They dip their trunks in paint and then move their trunk around on a canvas to leave colorful marks. Sometimes their trainers even give them specific colors to use.
Octopuses are also great at making art. They use their tentacles to move around and manipulate paint on a canvas. Some octopuses have even been trained to use a brush or marker!
Birds are also known for creating art. Some species of bird, like the bowerbird, decorate their nests to attract mates. They will gather colorful objects like feathers and berries and arrange them in intricate patterns.
So even though animals don’t use pencils or brushes like humans, they can still make beautiful pieces of art using their own unique methods.
