ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Annenberg School for Communication at the University of Pennsylvania

The Annenberg School for Communication is a special place where grown-ups go to learn about how people talk to each other. At the University of Pennsylvania, which is like a big school for really smart people, there is a building called the Annenberg School. This is where they teach students all about communication, which is how we share information with each other through talking, writing, and other ways.

So, imagine you're playing with your friends and you want to tell them a story, but they can't hear you from far away. You have to talk a little louder so they can hear what you're saying. That's called communication, because you're sharing information with them in a way they can understand. At the Annenberg School, they study different types of communication, like how people talk to each other on the phone, how people use social media, and even how people talk about important topics like politics or the news.

The people who work at the Annenberg School are really smart and they do lots of research so they can learn more about how communication works. They also teach students who want to learn about communication, so they can be really good at it too. Maybe one day you'll get to go to the Annenberg School and learn all about communication too!
