ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Annual conferences within Methodism

Once a year, all the people who follow a certain religion called Methodism get together in a big meeting. This meeting is called a conference, and it's a really important time for people to talk about how they can love and help others more, and how they can make their churches better.

People who have important jobs in the church, like pastors and leaders, go to this conference to share ideas and learn new things. They talk about how they can help people who are hurting or need help, and how they can make their churches stronger and better. They also talk about things they believe in, like helping others and being kind.

It's kind of like a big family reunion, but instead of just talking about fun stuff, they talk about how they can help each other and make the world a better place. They sing songs, pray together, and even have some fun activities sometimes. It's a way for everyone to come together as one big family and try to do good things for the world.
