Anointing of the sick is when a priest comes to see someone who is sick, whether they are really old, have a bad sickness or have an injury that is keeping them from feeling good. The priest will say special words and prayers and put a special oil on parts of their body like their forehead and hands. This helps the person feel better and know that God is there with them, even when they are not feeling well. It is a way for the Catholic church to show care and support for those who are going through a hard time because of their health.
