Antenatal depression

Antenatal depression is when a mommy-to-be feels very sad or down while she is pregnant. Sometimes, the mommy-to-be might feel overwhelmed, worried, or anxious about the baby's birth, the changes that come with having a baby, or caring for a new baby.
Antenatal depression is caused by changes in hormones and stress associated with pregnancy. It can make it challenging for a mommy-to-be to do daily activities like eating, sleeping, working, or taking care of herself.
It is essential for a mommy-to-be to talk to her doctor or midwife if she is experiencing symptoms of depression while pregnant. They can provide emotional support, therapy, or medication to help make her feel better. It is essential to manage antenatal depression because it can impact the baby's development and the mommy-to-be's ability to care for herself and her baby after birth.
