ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Antenna feed

An antenna feed is like a straw that leads to your radio. You know how when you want a drink, you have to put the straw in your cup and suck the liquid up? It's kind of like that, except instead of liquid, it's radio waves. The antenna is like the cup, and the feed is like the straw that brings the radio waves to your radio. Without the antenna feed, your radio wouldn't be able to pick up any signals!
