ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Anti-Zionist Committee of the Soviet Public

Well kiddo, there was once a group of people in a country called Soviet Union. They didn't like another country called Israel very much, because some of them thought that Israel was being mean to the people who already lived there.

This group of people made a special group called the "Anti-Zionist Committee of the Soviet Public." Basically, they wanted to tell everyone in the Soviet Union that they shouldn't support Israel or its ideas.

They talked a lot about how Israel was bad and how they thought that the people in Israel should have just stayed where they were instead of moving to that land.

But some people didn't agree with them, and it caused a lot of arguments and problems. Eventually, the Soviet Union got rid of the committee and things kind of went back to normal.

But it's important to remember that everyone has their own opinion and it's okay to disagree with each other, as long as we treat each other with kindness and respect.
