Anti-austerity movement

An anti-austerity movement is when people come together to protest something called "austerity". Austerity is when governments try to save money by making people pay more taxes and cutting services like schools and hospitals. People who are part of an anti-austerity movement do things like marching in the streets and writing letters to their government to try to make them change their policies so they don't hurt people.
