ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Anti-hero

Alright kiddo, so an anti-hero is kinda like a hero but also kinda not like a hero. Usually, heroes are all good and do the right thing no matter what but an anti-hero is a bit different. They are still the main character in a story but they don't always make the "right" choices. Sometimes they do things that are bad or morally wrong. But, just like a hero, they still have something about them that makes you root for them. Maybe they have a tragic backstory or they're fighting for a noble cause in a way that's not conventionally "good". Basically, anti-heroes are characters that blur the line between right and wrong and make for some really interesting stories!
