ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Anti-nuclear protests

Okay kiddo, so some people don't like nuclear weapons or nuclear power. They think they're dangerous and could hurt a lot of people. So they get together and make signs and march around, letting everyone know how they feel. These big groups of people are called anti-nuclear protests. They want the government and businesses to stop making things that have to do with nuclear power or weapons, and to use other types of energy that they think are safer. It's like when you tell mommy and daddy you don't like broccoli and want them to make something else for dinner. But instead of just asking your family, these people are trying to change the way everyone does things to make the world a safer place. Does that make sense, kiddo?
