Anti-tank rifle

Imagine you have a really strong toy gun that shoots special bullets that can go through really thick metal like a superhero power. That's kind of like an anti-tank rifle!

But instead of playing pretend, soldiers use these rifles to shoot at tanks and other big vehicles that are hard to damage with regular guns.

Anti-tank rifles are bigger and heavier than normal rifles because they have to shoot bigger bullets. These bullets are called armor-piercing because they can go through the thick metal armor that tanks and other big vehicles have to protect themselves.

Because of their size and power, anti-tank rifles take a lot of skill to use. The soldiers who use them have to be really strong because the weight can make it hard to aim and shoot accurately. They also have to be careful not to hurt themselves or others because the recoil (or kickback) from shooting can be very strong.

Overall, anti-tank rifles are one of the ways soldiers can try to take down powerful vehicles that could otherwise be too hard to defeat.
