Antikythera mechanism

The Antikythera Mechanism was a very special ancient machine that was discovered underwater in 1901. It was made at least 2,000 years ago and it has gears and wheels inside like a clock. These special gears and wheels helped the people who used it to predict things like the positions of stars and planets, and when special events like eclipses would happen. It was the first complicated machine ever made, and could do calculations that would have taken a lot of time without it!
