Antiprion drug

Okay kiddo, let's talk about antiprion drugs! So, you know how our body has tiny things called proteins that help our body work properly? Well, there are some proteins that can actually harm our body - one of them is called a "prion". Prions can cause diseases like "mad cow disease" in cows and "Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease" in humans.

Antiprion drugs are special medicines that scientists have made to try to stop these bad prions from harming our body. They work kind of like a puzzle piece - they fit into the prion and stop it from causing damage.

Now, antiprion drugs are still being tested to see how well they work and if there are any side effects, but scientists are hopeful that they could be a really important way to treat diseases caused by prions.
