Antisemitism and the New Testament

Antisemitism is the feeling of hatred towards Jewish people, who are a religious group that follow the Jewish faith. The New Testament is a book that is part of the Bible and is a collection of the stories of Jesus, who was Jewish. In some parts of the New Testament, it has been interpreted in a way that is offensive to Jewish people, suggesting that they have done something wrong or deserve to be punished in some way. However, this interpretation is not correct, and most Christian faiths believe that the New Testament overall is a book celebrating the life and teachings of Jesus, a Jewish man.
