Applications of artificial intelligence to legal informatics

Legal Informatics is the use of technology to collect, analyse and organize information that is related to the law. Artificial Intelligence (AI) is the use of computers and software to simulate human intelligence and think like humans do. When AI is used in legal informatics, it can help lawyers, judges and legal researchers to find important information faster and more accurately. For example, AI can analyse large amounts of previous court rulings in seconds to help lawyers come up with the best arguments for their case. AI could also help to spot potential errors and irregularities in documents, or even automatically review contracts to check for any potential legal issues.
