ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Apprenticeship learning

Apprenticeship learning is when you learn from someone who already knows how to do something. Think of it like being an apprentice to a master. The master is the person who is experienced in the skill you're trying to learn and the apprentice is the person who is learning from the master. The master will teach the apprentice everything they need to know about the skill. The apprentice will watch the master and learn by imitating them. By learning from the master in this way, the apprentice will eventually be able to do the skill very well.
