Aquatic Botany

Aquatic botany is like going to school for plants that live in water.

Plants are things that grow from the ground and give us air to breathe and food to eat. Now imagine if these plants lived in water! That's what aquatic botany is all about.

Just like how there are different types of plants on land, there are different types of plants in water too. Some plants are completely underwater, some are partially above water, and some float on top of the water. These plants are important for the things that live in water, like fish and other animals.

Aquatic botanists study how these underwater plants grow, how they affect the ecosystem, and how people can use them. They also look at how these plants can help clean the water, prevent soil erosion, and provide shelter for fish.

So, in summary, aquatic botany is all about learning about plants in the water and how they help the fish and other animals that live there.
