Arab Jews

Arab Jews are Jews who come from countries in the Middle East and North Africa such as Morocco, Tunisia, Egypt, Iraq, Syria, Yemen, Libya, Algeria, and other countries. These Jews left their countries of origin and moved to Israel, the United States, Canada, Argentina, and other countries because of religious persecution and government policies that made it difficult to practice their faith. Arab Jews have maintained their distinct culture and language, but like all Jews, share traditions and religious beliefs.
