Arawak peoples

Arawak peoples were a group of people who lived in the Caribbean a really long time ago. They were some of the first people to ever live there and they were really good at farming and fishing. They had their own language and culture and they lived in small villages made out of things like wood and grass. The Arawak peoples were very skilled at making pottery and were very good at trading goods with other villages. However, a long time ago, many Europeans came to the Caribbean and unfortunately, many of the Arawak peoples were harmed or killed. Today, many people still remember and honor the Arawak peoples for the rich culture and history they brought to the Caribbean.
