Arc spring

Okay kiddo, an arc spring is like when you have a bendy straw and you push it down and it pops back up. That's because the straw is made of a material that can bend and then spring back to its original shape.

An arc spring is a type of spring that works the same way, but it's not made of plastic like a straw. It's usually made of metal, and it looks like a little coil or spiral. When you push on it, it bends and stores energy. Then, when you let go, it springs back to its original shape and releases the stored energy.

Arc springs are used in lots of things that need to move quickly and smoothly, like switches and buttons. They're also used in some toys and gadgets that have little moving parts that need to be pushed or pulled.

So, think of an arc spring like a super-flexible straw that can store energy and then use it to pop back into shape. And the best part? You don't have to drink anything out of it.
