Architecture of Washington, D.C.

Washington D.C. has a special kind of architecture. The buildings are all designed in a similar style that is inspired by ancient Greece and Rome. Most of the buildings feature tall columns, marble facades, and strong, grand designs. The most impressive buildings in Washington D.C. are The White House, the Capitol Building, and the Supreme Court Building. These three buildings are the most well-known and important of the group. All three of these buildings feature tall white columns and statues of important figures from American history. All of the buildings in Washington D.C. are examples of architecture that looks impressive and shows people the power of the United States.
