Areca catechu

Areca catechu is a plant that some people chew on like gum. The plant has big, green leaves with pointy tips that grow on it. The leaves look kind of like the leaves on a tree. The inside of the plant has a nut, which is like a big seed that you can eat. When you eat it, you break open the hard shell and inside is a white part that you can chew on. People like to chew on it because it makes them feel happy and awake. But just like anything else, too much of it can be bad for you. So it's better to not do it all the time.
