ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Armenian Uruguayans

Imagine a big group of people who all come from the same place called Armenia. Now, some of these people decide to move to a faraway country called Uruguay. When they get there, they start to make a new home for themselves but they also want to keep their traditions and culture from Armenia. So, they create their own community in Uruguay and continue to celebrate their holidays, speak their language, and cook their food.

These people who come from Armenia and now live in Uruguay are called Armenian Uruguayans. They have two parts to their identity: being Armenian and being Uruguayan. They are proud of both of these things and work hard to keep their traditions alive while also being a part of Uruguayan society.
