ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Armenian draughts

Armenian draughts is a game that people like to play. It is played on a board that looks like a checkerboard. Each player gets 12 pieces, which are different from checkers because they are shaped like little cones. In Armenian draughts, the cones can move diagonally, like in checkers, but they can also jump over other pieces, even their own!

The goal of the game is to capture all of your opponent's pieces. You do this by jumping over them with your own pieces. When you do this, you get to take their piece off the board. There are also some special rules, like if you can make a "crowning" move and get one of your pieces to the other end of the board, you get to turn it into a super piece that can move even more directions.

Armenian draughts is a fun game that can be played with friends or family. It's kind of like checkers, but with some extra rules that make it even more exciting!
