Armenian genocide
Hey there kiddo, the Armenian Genocide is a very sad story that happened in a country called Armenia a long time ago. Some grown-ups were really mean to other grown-ups who were Armenian and hurt them very badly. They did this because they didn't like them and thought they were not as important as other people.
The Armenian people were forced to leave their homes and move to other places they didn't want to go to. Many of them got sick and some of them even died because they didn't have enough food, water or medicine.
It was a very bad time for the Armenian people and it went on for many years. Even though it was a long time ago, many people still talk about it today and try to make sure it never happens again. It's important to be kind to everyone and treat them with respect, no matter where they come from or what they look like.
