Arms Export Control Act

The Arms Export Control Act is a law that makes it illegal for people in the United States to give weapons, also known as "arms," to people in other countries without permission from the US Government. This means that if someone wants to give a gun, missile, or other weapon to someone in another country, they have to get special permission from the US Government first. This helps keep people around the world safe by making sure that weapons don't get spread around too quickly.
