Artificial photosynthesis

Artificial photosynthesis is kind of like when plants take sunlight and turn it into energy. Scientists have figured out how to do the same thing, except with artificial light instead of sunlight. They can use high-energy light, such as from lasers, to break water molecules apart. This process creates oxygen and hydrogen, which can be used as an energy source for powering things like cars or homes. It's also a clean, renewable source of energy.
