Artistic cycling

Artistic cycling is a sport where people ride bicycles and perform tricks and stunts on them at the same time. Think of it like dancing on a bike!

People who participate in artistic cycling train really hard to be able to do things like riding backwards, standing on the handlebars or even balancing on just one wheel while riding. They have to have really good balance and coordination to be able to do all of these things.

There are different types of artistic cycling competitions where competitors can show off their skills. In one type of competition called freestyle, competitors get to choose what tricks they want to perform and are judged on how well they execute them. In another type of competition called artistic pairs, two people ride one bike and perform tricks together.

Artistic cycling is not just about performing tricks though. It's about making it look beautiful and smooth too. So, participants also have to think about their posture, their facial expressions and their clothes to make sure everything looks perfect.

At the end of the day, artistic cycling is a really fun and impressive sport to watch, and it takes a lot of hard work and practice to be able to do it well!
