Artists of stamps of the United States

Artists make pretty pictures that are printed on small pieces of paper called stamps. In the United States, there are special artists called stamp designers who create pictures to go on stamps. The pictures on the stamps represent things that are important to the United States.

Some stamp designers draw pictures of animals, like birds or dogs. Others draw pictures of famous people, like presidents or inventors. Some stamps have pictures of beautiful landscapes, like mountains and beaches.

Before the stamp gets printed and sent out to people, the design has to be approved by the United States Postal Service. If it is approved, the stamp will be made and people can use it to send letters or packages to each other.

A lot of the stamps in the United States are very special and people collect them. There are even special clubs and organizations for people who love collecting stamps. Some stamps can even become very valuable over time!
