Asian–African Conference

The Asian–African Conference was a gathering of leaders from Asian and African countries that happened in 1955. The people who came to this conference decided to work together for peace and friendship between all the countries involved. They wanted to make sure that everyone in the world could have freedom and be treated with respect. This was an important event in world history, because it was the first time that Asian and African countries worked together and began to build relationships with one another.
