Association of Gay and Lesbian Psychiatrists

The Association of Gay and Lesbian Psychiatrists is a group of doctors who help people that are gay, lesbian, bisexual or transgender. Psychiatrists are kind of like doctors for your brain and your feelings. Gay and lesbian means that a person falls in love with or is attracted to someone of the same gender as themselves. The Association of Gay and Lesbian Psychiatrists helps these people by making sure they can find doctors who understand them and their needs. They also want to make sure that people who are gay or lesbian can live happy, healthy lives, just like anybody else.
