Astrobotany

Astrobotany is the study of plants that grow in outer space. Scientists want to know if plants can grow and survive in outer space, like they do on Earth. They are studying how plants need sunlight and soil to grow, and how astronauts can use plants to create food and oxygen in space. Astrobotany helps us learn more about how plants work so that scientists can one day help astronauts grow plants in space!
