Asturian architecture

Asturian architecture is a type of building design that comes from a place called Asturias, which is in the northern part of Spain. This kind of architecture has been around for a very long time -- almost a thousand years!

One of the most important things to know about Asturian architecture is that it often has a unique style called "horreos". Horreos are small buildings that were traditionally used for storing things like grain or corn. They look a little bit like tiny houses on stilts!

Asturian architecture is also known for having lots of intricate details and decorations on the buildings. Sometimes, there are even statues or carvings on the walls!

Overall, Asturian architecture is a really special and unique type of building design that has been around for centuries. And, even though it can seem sophisticated and fancy, it all started out with building tiny little horreos for storing things.
