ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Atemporal fall

Atemporal fall is when something falls through time. It usually happens when something travels faster than the speed of light or when something is sent back in time. It means that the thing is travelling through different points in time, like a waterfall flowing downriver. It can also happen if something travels in a curved space-time. For example, a spaceship that is sent on a looping journey through the universe can pass through different points in time as it returns to its origin.
