Atropatene

Atropatene is a place that used to exist a long time ago, in a land that now belongs to different countries like Iran and Azerbaijan. It was named after a general called Atropates who lived there and helped to make it a special and important place. People used to trade and travel through Atropatene because it was right in the middle of many other important places. Today, we can still learn about Atropatene from old books and artifacts, and it reminds us of the people who lived and thrived in that part of the world hundreds of years ago.
