Okay kiddo, so you know how when people believe in something, sometimes they might disagree with each other about how to follow those beliefs? It's kind of like that with the Baháʼí faith.
There have been some people who were part of the Baháʼí community who wanted to change the way things were done or believed differently than what the leaders of the religion said. They tried to create their own groups or branches of the religion, which is called a schism.
But the Baháʼí faith is built on the idea of unity, and the leaders of the religion didn't want these different groups to form because it could cause division and conflict within the community. So they decided not to recognize these attempted schisms and instead encouraged everyone to work together and follow the original teachings of the faith.
In other words, some people disagreed and tried to start their own groups within the Baháʼí faith, but the leaders of the religion didn't want that because they wanted everyone to stay together and follow the same beliefs.
