Australian Elizabethan Theatre Trust

The Australian Elizabethan Theatre Trust (AETT) is a group of people who want to make sure that people in Australia can enjoy and watch plays and performances just like they did in the olden times. Elizabethan times were a loooong time ago, when a queen named Elizabeth was in charge of England. And guess what? She loved watching plays! So, people started building special places called "theatres" to put on plays for her.

Now, the AETT wants to keep that tradition alive by making sure that people in Australia can watch plays too. They help build and fund theatres, give money to actors and artists, and keep track of all the plays happening across the country. This way, people can learn new things and be entertained at the same time!

So, just like Queen Elizabeth loved watching plays back in the olden times, the AETT wants to make sure that people in Australia can still enjoy plays and have fun just like they did all those years ago.
