ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Australian Hydrographic Association

The Australian Hydrographic Association is a group of people who are interested in studying and mapping the underwater world. They work to help ships navigate safely through the waterways of Australia. Just like how we use maps to find our way around on land, ships use maps of the ocean and its floor to make sure they stay on course and avoid any obstacles. And this is where the Australian Hydrographic Association comes in – they create these maps and make sure they are accurate so that ships can travel safely. They also help to study the ocean environment and its creatures, like scientists who study animals on land. Basically, the Australian Hydrographic Association is all about making sure everyone can explore the ocean safely and understand what is going on down there!
