Australian feral camels are camels that used to be owned by people, but have run away or been set free. Feral camels are now living wild in Australia, where there are no naturally-occurring camels. They usually live together in big groups (called mobs) and can travel great distances if they don't have enough food near where they live. They eat the plants that grow in the Outback, and are a big problem because they can eat so much that they ruin some of the plants that other animals need to survive.
